Cape primroses are also known as Streptocarpus. They make beautiful houseplants and there are lots of varieties with different colour flowers. Cape primroses can be propagated by taking leaf cuttings. Cut each leaf down the centre removing the thick mid rib. Put the cut leaf on its edge into compost. (Place the cut edge into the compost). Loads of tiny leaves will appear from the edge of the cut leaf. Carefully remove each leaf with a bit of compost and pot them on into individual pots. They’re
