The report said the blast was accidental and caused by a propane explosion in the home’s basement.

The resident was trying to thaw frozen water pipes using a propane-powered heater when a buildup of gas underneath the trailer caused a small flash fire and explosion.

The explosion occurred at about noon on Wednesday, Feb. 11, and was reported by multiple neighbors in the area. Monahan said the explosion demolished the front porch, and damaged the home.
