Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday evening defended his actions, emphasising that "Iran will not have nuclear weapons, with or without an agreement".

His remarks come shortly after US President Donald Trump publicly questioned whether the veteran Israeli leader planned to continue in office once the current regional conflicts draw to a close.

The president promised oil would resume flowing through the Strait of Hormuz, though U.S. and Iranian officials differed over the initial agreement’s terms.
