For decades, young men living in Utah and across the country have registered for the Selective Service by going online or mailing in selective service cards. Now they don't have to.

Starting December of this yeargo , the U.S. will automatically register eligible men for the military draft through the Selective Service System, a major change under the National Defense Authorization Act that does not mean a draft is being enacted but is raising questions nationwide.
